Foad Nazari is a research faculty and post-doctroal fellow in Villanova Center for Analytics of Dynamic Systems (VCADS). During more than one decade, Foad’s research and educational efforts have mainly focused on application of machine learning and diagnostics. He has authored and co-authored 40+ peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals and international conferences. His research interests pertain to application of AI in diagnostics, prognostics and health management, and also analytics and optimization of dynamics systems. Foad earned 7+ year experience of university teaching as lecturer and TA and mentoring the graduate and under-graduate students in several research projects. He has also served as scientific journals’ editor and reviewer, and scientific conferences’ technical committee member. He has 4+ year full-time experience of professional project management in industry. Foad is highly experienced and interested in teamwork, team building and project management. He also has dedicated volunteer service and leadership at professional, community and university levels. He joined VCADS in May 2018.
